YOUR DAY AS AN EXCAVATION - CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

Picture this: you arrive at work, fueled up and ready to take on the day's excitement as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Peacock Excavating LLC. You'll be running the show with a range of heavy equipment like water trucks, backhoes, bulldozers, and excavators. Your mission? Making sure our machinery is in tip-top shape for smooth sailing on the construction site.

Get your adrenaline pumping as you maneuver excavators and backhoes, digging trenches and foundations like a pro. Show off your bulldozer skills, moving earth and leveling the land to perfection. Oh, and don't forget about the water truck! You'll be in charge of distributing water wherever it's needed on our construction sites. Plus, if you've got experience operating finish graders, you'll be the champion of precise grading and leveling. Teamwork and clear communication will be your secret weapons as you collaborate with our fantastic crew to tackle projects with finesse.

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS AN EXCAVATION - CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT OPERATOR:

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation, along with a clean driving record.
1-3 years of related experience, although candidates with 3+ years of experience are preferred.
Knowledge of heavy equipment operations, safety practices, and maintenance procedures.
The ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing project requirements.
Experience operating finish graders is highly desirable.

WORK SCHEDULE

Get ready for a full-time gig, Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 5 pm. We might throw in an occasional Saturday just for fun (okay, maybe not so fun, but we'll make it worthwhile!). Our base of operations is in the beautiful city of Provo, Utah. That's where all the action happens, and where you'll join our amazing team of excavation enthusiasts.
