We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Excavator Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy-duty haul trucks to transport materials such as rock, gravel, sand, or other aggregate materials within construction or mining sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate excavators to extract aggregate materials in a safe and productive manner.
Load haul trucks with raw materials from designated pit areas.
Feed crushers or screen plants with material as required.
Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance; report any mechanical issues.
Assist with general pit operations including site clean-up, stockpile management, and material sorting.
Follow proper safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Communicate effectively with pit supervisors, truck drivers, and other operators.
Keep accurate records of production and material movement.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and log documentation.

Requirements:

Valid Class C driver’s license
Experience operating haul trucks or other heavy equipment preferred
Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work long shifts if necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in construction, mining, or quarry environments
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks
First Aid/CPR certification (preferred)
Knowledge of sand mining operations (preferred)
