Job Title: Equipment Operator
Location: Weatherford, TX (on-site)

Expected Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week
Job Overview:A skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator is needed for full-time work specializing in the construction and maintenance of high-quality outdoor surfaces. This role is ideal for professionals who take pride in precision work and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Travel Requirement: Approximately 40% of work will require travel throughout Texas and surrounding states. Lodging and business expenses are covered for the duration of travel, which may range from overnight stays to two-week assignments.
Key Responsibilities:Operate heavy equipment such as:
Skid steers
Dozers
Tractors
Excavators
Water trucks
Rollers
Wheel loaders
Dump trucks
Perform tasks including digging, grading, and transporting materials
Conduct equipment maintenance (greasing, fueling, cleaning)
Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or damages
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized worksite
Work closely with team members to ensure timely project completion
Required Experience & Skills:Finish grade experience is required
Experience with laser automation and GPS-controlled equipment is preferred
Strong understanding of equipment operation, safety, and maintenance
Ability to read and interpret construction plans or blueprints
Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination
Physical ability to perform tasks in various weather conditions for extended periods
Qualifications:Proven experience in heavy equipment operation on construction projects
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of workmanship
Ability to operate a range of heavy machinery and vehicles
Commercial driving experience and mechanical skills are a plus
Familiarity with GPS navigation systems used in construction settings
Schedule:10-hour shifts
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
