Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery and a strong understanding of construction processes. This role involves the safe and efficient operation of equipment to support building and excavation projects.

Duties

Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators and skid steers on construction sites.
Perform tasks including digging, building, and back filling.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate activities on-site and ensure project timelines are met.
Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.

Requirements

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with loaders, excavators and skid steers.
Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards.
Valid Hoisting license is mandatory.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks as required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork on-site.
