Opportunity:

Operators drive, control, and maintain heavy equipment and other necessary machinery in a safe, efficient manner. Operators will work in a fast-paced environment. Safety is a top priority for Operators and must have knowledge of safe operation and driving practices to complete obligations. Operators report directly to the Foreman.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Excavating trenches and structures, laying pipe and precast concrete structures, loading trucks and backfilling trenches.
Placing shoring and trench boxes.
Operates a crawler machine mounted with an excavator bucket.
May also be equipped with various hydraulic attachments (e.g. hammers, pipe vacuum)
Performs daily inspection paperwork daily and notifies the Foreman/Supervisor of any issues/defects.
May assist the crew, when needed, in operating other equipment and/or helping the laborers on the ground.
Performs other duties as assigned
Position requires 8 hour work days 6 days a week.
Supervisor contact is subject to the company organizational chart and or directed by the CEO.
Employee travel, travel time, and expense is at employee responsibility, unless directed by the CEO in writing.
