The Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery to assist with high-end residential landscaping projects. This includes site preparation, grading, material handling, and installation support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and takes pride in delivering work that reflects the quality and sophistication our clients expect.
Safely and efficiently operate landscape equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, trenchers, compactors, and loaders.
Perform site grading, excavation, trenching, and backfilling for landscape and hardscape installations.
Load, transport, and place materials (soil, gravel, stone, plants, etc.) with precision and care.
Support crews in installation of patios, retaining walls, plantings, drainage, and irrigation systems.
Conduct daily equipment inspections, perform basic maintenance, and report mechanical issues.
Follow all safety protocols and company standards to maintain a secure job site.
Work closely with project managers and crew leaders to execute high-end landscape designs to exact specifications.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site, mindful of the client’s property at all times.
Minimum 2+ years of experience operating landscaping or construction equipment.
Experience in high-end residential landscaping or similar detail-oriented work preferred.
Strong knowledge of equipment safety and proper operating procedures.
Ability to read and follow site plans, grades, and instructions from supervisors.
Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).
Positive attitude, reliability, and ability to work effectively in a team.
